The Friday evening reception was held
in the grounds of Camstradden House, home of the Chief of Clan Colquhoun,
Sir Malcolm Colquhoun.

The
march to the games field was led by pipers from the Machrihannish Dunes
Sound of Kintyre Pipe Band Pipe Band who are based in Campbelltown
Sir
Malcolm oversees the march and pipers at the pier before the march through
Luss village then along the main road to the games field.

With
the games in full swing, races run, clamours tossed and hammers thrown,
everyone was having a good time.
Plaque
inside Kirkpatrick Church showing resident priests from 1232AD, interesting
to note that a John Colquhoun was in charge in 1590 to 1635.
Dunglass
House, the site is now controlled by Exxon Mobil Oil Company, this house,
although not part of Clan Colquhoun, is an important grade 2 listed building
built and used by artists of the early 20th century.

Castle, an early, 12th Century fortress overlooking the River Clyde and
having a strategic view of the entire river.
